Thanks to Charuca’s Facebook page, I stumbled upon these floofy needle felted cats:
Woonya is a combination of the words wool and nyanko (cat). They are handmade by Hayasaka Nobuya and he tries to make you feel as if this Woonya cat doll is alive. At 5 cm (2 inch) it’s quite small and will fit in the palm of your hands. If your cat doesn’t resemble one of the standard models, you can order a custom design for about $10 extra. In that case your cat will be needle felted based on a description and a couple of photos .
Each Woonya will be shipped in this awesome little box <3
Look: I found a Catootje Woonya (^_^)
Regular cats are about 3500 yen and custom made cats will cost 4500 yen at Creema or iichi. If you live outside Japan, you can get yourself a Woonya through This is Japan.
I’d like to introduce you to a simple, but addictive game called PooPoosFriends! It’s a variation of the match 3 game; various characters will appear from the bottom of the screen and you’ll have to link 3 or more similar ones. The gameplay is actually more challenging than it sounds, because the faces won’t appear in straight lines.
The game centers around PooPoo, who is indeed a lucky poo ^_^, and his friends:
– Buku; unknown bear in a veil, he happens to be a good cook
– Puchi; a cute bunny who loves sweet cakes
– Mochi; the good-natured cat
– Haat; a passionate bear who is on fire when he gets angry (in Dutch haat means hate O_o)
PooPoo’s Friends was made by a Korean company called Funnpy and can be downloaded for free on iTunes and Google Play. The only catch is a small ad once you’ve finished a game, but that didn’t bother me at all.
